I am a qualified nutritionist with a first class honours degree in Health, Nutrition and lifestyle acquired from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. I am accredited to the Association for Nutrition register (AFN) as a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr), and after two years I will become a fully Registered Nutritionist (RNutr). The AFN governs the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN) to distinguish nutrition practitioners who meet rigorously applied training, competence and professional practice criteria. Its purpose is to protect the public and assure the credibility of nutrition as a responsible profession. I hold a Level 2 Food and Hygiene certificate and I have a Level 3 YMCA Award in Adapting Exercise for Ante Natal and Post Natal Clients including nutritional adaptation and advice. I will soon be qualified as an accredited Counterweight Practitioner. I have studied very closely alongside some of Britain’s leading Dieticians and fitness experts.

Along with a degree in nutrition, I am a Level 3 Personal Trainer, also acquired through the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. I am registered through Reps which is an independent, public register which recognises the qualifications and expertise of health-enhancing exercise instructors in the UK. REPs provides a system of regulation for instructors and trainers to ensure that they meet the health and fitness industry’s agreed National Occupational Standards. REPs was developed to protect the public from trainers who do not hold appropriate qualifications. As well as protecting the public, REPs was also established to recognise the qualifications and skills of exercise professionals.
